This Privacy Policy explains how Procomp Sport Martial Arts ("Procomp," "we," "us") handles information in the Procomp mobile app and our website at procompsma.com (together, the "Service"). The Service is provided to our students and their parents/guardians to manage their martial arts training.
Information We Collect
- Account information you or your school provide: name, email address, phone number, mailing address, date of birth, and emergency contact details.
- Membership & training records: your programs/memberships, class schedule, attendance, belt rank and progress, and event registrations.
- Payment status: whether registration or membership fees are paid, pending, or waived. Card payments are processed by our payment provider; we do not store full card numbers in the app.
- Messages: announcements we send you and any direct messages you send or receive in the app.
- Notification token: a device token used only to deliver push notifications you enable.
How We Use Information
- To show you your schedule, attendance, training materials, belt progress, and events.
- To process program and event registrations and related payments.
- To send notifications and messages you choose to receive.
- To operate, secure, and support the Service.
How Information Is Shared
We do not sell your personal information. We share it only with service providers that help us run the Service, and only as needed to do so:
- Google Firebase Cloud Messaging — to deliver push notifications.
- Our payment processor — to process registration and membership payments.
- Our website hosting provider — to store and serve your data securely.
We may also disclose information if required by law.
Push Notifications
If you enable notifications, we use your device token to send class reminders, announcements, and message alerts. You can turn notifications off at any time in your device settings.
Children's Privacy
Many of our students are minors. Accounts for minors are created and managed by the school and/or a parent or guardian, who provides and controls the student's information. We do not knowingly collect personal information directly from children without school or parental involvement. Parents/guardians may review or request deletion of their child's information by contacting us.
Data Retention
We keep your information while you are an active member and as needed for our records and legal obligations. You may request deletion of your information by contacting us (see below).
Security
We use reasonable safeguards, including encrypted (HTTPS) connections, to protect your information. No method of transmission or storage is completely secure, but we work to protect your data.
Your Choices
You can view and update much of your contact information in the app, or contact us to access, correct, or delete your information.
Changes to This Policy
We may update this policy from time to time. Material changes will be posted on this page with a new "Last updated" date.
